Jump into a POUND® intro class Thursday 1/26 at noon or 4:15 pm! This exhilarating workout incorporates the motion of drumming into a movement series that yields cardio & strength benefits! POUND will join the GPX line-up in February Thursdays at noon and -beginning 2/9- at 4:30 pm!

Our pool, therapy pockets, walking oval and lap lanes provide refreshing space for aquatic therapy, swim lessons, family swim times and group fitness classes. Aqua Pilates, anyone?

Swim lessons

The following group classes are open to the public and offered in PWC’s indoor warm water pool: Parent & Child (ages 6 months – 3 years), Preschool Aquatics (ages 3-5 years), and Learn to Swim (ages 6 – 13 years). Classes for children support the needs of never-ever swimmers as well as young swimmers progressing in their skills. Our learning environment focuses on learning skills in a fun way while also focusing on water safety – important knowledge for swimmers in order to help themselves or others in an aquatic emergency. Family swim sessions

Parkinson’s awareness month: open house

Community members with Parkinson’s disease, their family members and caregivers are invited to an open house on April 29, 1:00-3:00 pm, for PWC’s Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) program (a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum designed to improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s disease) and monthly Parkinson’s support group.

Family Swim expands to Thursdays

Another day for members to enjoy Family Swim! Beginning on April 7, Thursday sessions will be added, with time blocks available at 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Please register for your family’s session at the front desk!

Aquathon – Aquatic fitness day

Aquatic exercise is beneficial for strength, cardio health and mobility and is easy on the joints! Experience the benefits: join an aquatic class at PWC during Aquathon, a worldwide celebration of aquatic fitness! This free event is open to members and to the public.

Chronic disease self-management program

Registration is open for a free Chronic Disease Self-Management Program that support those suffering from a chronic conditions as well as caregivers for those with a chronic condition. The program runs January 12 – February 16, 2023.
