Saturday, March 25, 12:00 noon – 1:30 pm: Yoga for Beginners. Join instructor Kelly Rozwadowski for this free intro to yoga (open to the public)! Learn about this ancient practice and its terminology, poses and props, then enjoy a class! No registration; join Kelly in the group exercise room!
Saturday, March 25 & Sunday, March 26: Shallow water lifeguard training. 9 am – 5 pm. For more information on the training click here. Members: The inner pool will be closed to regular use during this time, and on 3/25 Bata Bing will not be held. Our apologies for the inconvenience. All other pool areas will be available.
Swim lessons
The following group classes are open to the public and offered in PWC’s indoor warm water pool: Parent & Child (ages 6 months – 3 years), Preschool Aquatics (ages 3-5 years), and Learn to Swim (ages 6 – 13 years). Classes for children support the needs of never-ever swimmers as well as young swimmers progressing in their skills. Our learning environment focuses on learning skills in a fun way while also focusing on water safety – important knowledge for swimmers in order to help themselves or others in an aquatic emergency. Family swim sessions

Check out POUND® at Powell Wellness Center! This exhilarating full-body workout with GPX instructor Karen Frazier combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements.
New class: Cardio Lunchbox
Cardio Lunchbox is a 30 minute non-contact boxing based workout intended to improve cardiovascular fitness, build endurance, and increase coordination and agility. Class movements can be adapted to each individual’s needs – come give it a try!
Aquatic job fair & open house March 11
Learn about aquatics job opportunities! We’ll host an aquatics job fair and open house on Saturday, March 11, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Job opportunities include lifeguarding, swim lesson instruction, and aquatic group fitness instruction.
