Welcoming volunteers to support Rock Steady Boxing program

Our Rock Steady Boxing program serving individuals with symptoms of Parkinson’s has been underway since 2021. Rock Steady Boxing, a national program, was developed in response to studies suggesting that intense exercise, such as boxing, may be neuroprotective and work to delay the progression of disease symptoms. We are very excited to offer this program serving our members and members of the Culpeper/Orange/Madison community. Learn about the PWC program

Volunteers are critical to the program’s success.  Volunteers play an important and rewarding role that contributes to the success of the program for participants. You’ll assist the RSB coach to set up before class and help ensure the safety of all the boxers during class. And importantly, your enthusiasm will contribute to making each class the best it can be for the boxers!

Will you support program participants as a volunteer?
