Yoga instructor Rebecca Elsen will lead a Yoga Nidra workshop on Saturday, July 16, 1:30 – 2:45 pm. This session is free and open to the public.
What is Yoga Nidra? If you have never experienced this guided meditation, prepare to welcome deep relaxation! Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of encouraging complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Through the guided practice you will progressively release tension, which in addition to relaxation may lead to higher states of concentration and meditation. You may leave the class feeling like you’ve had a restorative nap and are infused with a calm, focused energy that makes you want to clean out your sock drawer! (Or pursue another chore or activity that has been sidelined due to lack of energy and interest!)
This class is open to all levels of experience. Exercise mats are available. Come and give Yoga Nidra a try!
