Falls can happen to all ages, with older adults particularly at risk. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one-fourth of Americans aged 65+ falls each year. Falls have resulted in more than 3 million injuries treated in emergency departments annually, including over 850,000 hospitalizations and more than 29,000 deaths.

The good news is that you can be proactive and minimize your risk of injury during a fall.

During “Falling for You,” personal trainers Sharon Steele, Heather Boggess and Katie Hutchins will share strategies for a safer fall and techniques that will allow you to recover and get back on your feet. Practice with Sharon, Heather and Katie in the classroom so that you have strategies to employ if you do face a fall!

Two sessions to choose from:

Thursday, September 23, 11:00 am

Saturday, October 2, 11:00 am
