Yoga Nidra

The goal of yoga nidra is to promote a profound state of relaxation, which differs from sleep as there is still an awareness of one’s surroundings. This results in stress reduction as well as starting healing processes and personal transformation. Yoga nidra is perfect for all levels of fitness and familiarity with yoga.
The practice can be done in a chair. If not using a chair, please bring two blankets and a pillow for comfort on the mat. Participants may bring their own mat or use one of the classroom’s fitness mats.

At the beginning of the session, there will be some gentle movement to prepare the body for relaxation.
