April 15, 2020 update: Governor Northam’s statewide order closing fitness centers and other businesses as part of Virginia’s COVID-19 prevention plan has been extended through May 8. We will remain closed until further guidance is provided to businesses about reopening.
In keeping with Governor Northam’s statewide order to close fitness centers to protect the health and safety of Virginians and reduce the spread of COVID-19, we will extend the closure of Powell Wellness Center and Culpeper Sport and Fitness through April 23rd. We look forward to reopening on Friday, April 24th assuming it is safe to do so at that time. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and update you if anything changes.
Membership dues will not be billed during this closure. If you have paid for swim lessons, personal training or other activities, your account will be credited.
These are unprecedented times and we encourage you to remain active – take a walk, go for a jog, join an online class with one of our instructors or establish an exercise routine at home guided by one of our personal trainers. You can check our website and Facebook pages for a schedule of online fitness classes. If you are interested in working remotely with a personal trainer, please contact us at info@culpeperwellness.org.
Please continue to follow CDC guidance to prevent transmission of the virus and stay connected to family and friends through phone calls, FaceTime, emails and maybe even a handwritten letter!
We miss you and greatly look forward to the day we can welcome you back!
